Grand parents...

Grandma sayings:

What children need most are the essentials that grandparents provide in abundance. They give unconditional love, kindness, patience, humor, comfort, lessons in life. And, most importantly, cookies, food and "FUN"

There's no place like home except Grandma's

Grandmas never run out of hugs or cookies

Grandmas hold our tiny hands for just a little while, but our hearts forever.

A grandfather is someone with silver in his hair and gold in his heart

This is the best line to define a grand parent: -

"Grandma & Grandpa always made you feel they had been waiting to see just you all day and now the day was complete"

Miss you dada dadi... wish you were here beside me but i am sure you looking after Del & me (she is the best is'nt she ;)) Ihope I have made you proud till date, won't dissapoint tin the future as well.. Miss your pink shirt and strap ons dada........

Dear Mumma (del if i recall you used to call her Mumma right) I am sure that you are watching over us with love and affection.. do not worry Del is a precious angel and I will give her the smae love and affection you showed.. I wish i could have recieved the same... but i am sure the strength you bestow upon us now will help us make you proud and keep you happy always... Love you

The Hu Ha's of life......

1. Don't compare your self with anyone in'the world.... You only insulting yourself

2. No locksmith manufactures a lock without a key... So why do we believe god gives us only problems and no solution... chill the solutions will come by

3. Life laughs at your face when you are sad and unhappy.... But when you are HAPPY it laughs with you.. and most importantly it stands up and SALUTES YOU WHEN YOU SPREAD THAT SMILE

4. Evey successful person has a pain full story to tell and every pain full story has a success full ending... SO ACCEPT THE PAIN AND GET READY FOR WHATS COMING YOUR WAY

5. It is easy to say "YOU ARE WRONG" its difficult to bow down and say "IT'S MY FAULT"... But remember it is easier to protect your feet with Shoes / Slippers than to cover the earth with a carpet

6. No one can go back and change a BAD beginning...But you can always start now and CREATE A SUCCESS FULL ENDING

7. If every problem has a solution (point 2) then why do we worry about it.. AND if we still feel there is no solution it then WHAT'S THE USE OF WORRYING..

8. If an opportunity goes by don't fill those itsi bitsi eyes with tears.... who knows you you might be blinding yourself against an even better opportunity floating gently bye

The Pencil Story

In the Begining the pencil maker spoke to the pencil and told him that if he needed to survive in the world he needed to remember 5 key points:-

1. YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DO MANY GREAT THING S BUT ONLY IF YOU REMEMBER TO LET YOURSELF BE HELD IN SOMEONE ELSE'S HAND

2. YOU WILL EXPERIENCE A PAIN FULL SHARPENING FROM TIME TO TIME BUT THIS IS REQUIRED IF YOU ARE TO BECOME A BETTER PENCIL

3. YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO CORRECT ANY MISTAKE YOU MAKE

4. THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF YOU WILL BE WHAT'S INSIDE

5. NO MATTER WHAT Condition YOU MUST ALWAYS LEAVE A CLEAR, LEGIBLE MARK NO MATTER HOW DIFFICULT THE SITUATION

Having heard this the pencil understood and promised his maker he would be the best pencil ever...

hmmmm.... interesting 5 points don't you think.. Now lets replace the pencil by us humans....

1. We as humans are quite cab bale of doing great things but only if we let other humans have access to us for the various qualities we posses after all the "NO BIRD SOARS TOO HIGH IF HE SOARS WITH HIS OWN 2 WINGS"

2. We do experience a painful sharpening from time to time by going through various problems in life but think of it each painful blow if treated in the right makes you a stronger and better person doesn't?

3. We not perfect we do make mistakes and we and only we have the ability to rectify them.. DO WE??

4. The most important part of us is how we are on the inside after all beauty is only skin deep...

5. And last on every surface we walk we must leave a mark no matter what the situation we must look ahead..

So i guess we all are like our everyday pencil Aren't we? We are all here for a purpose some find it some don't.. FOR those who don't its important how we leave a mark behind.. how people reembark us once we shut our eyes forever.. You may not be the richest man or the strongest or even the best looking.. you may be just another pebble o the road but we al lcan leave a mark on this world its all if we choose too....

“Serenity is not freedom from the storm, but peace within the storm.”

I was reading up on the net and I stub bled upon this article By: Molly Stranahan.

For those of you don't know Molly Stanahan is a Psy.D., who uses a synthesis of life’s teachings, including her training and personal and professional experiences, to help people make choices that lead to happier, healthier, more-fulfilling lives. She received a doctorate in psychology from Rutgers University Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology in 1996.

She has defined 25 resolutions to attain happiness and they are so true.. I am just highlighting the steps she has written about. For further details do read http://soulfulliving.com/learned_so_far.htm

1. I will make happiness a worthy goal, for achieving it is entirely within my power.
2. I will use my feelings to tell me when things aren’t working for me.
3. I will let go of what I cannot change: other people, the past, the future.
4. I will focus on what I can change--my thoughts, beliefs, expectations, and behavior, which will change how I feel.
5. I will appreciate the moment.
6. I will focus on what I have so that I experience abundance, remembering that unhappy people focus on what they want, and they feel deprived.
7. I will be grateful.
8. I will believe that all people are equally valuable and worthy by virtue of being human, and that makes me valuable and worthy.
9. I will accept others as they are: valuable, love able, unique and worthwhile.
10. I will stop assuming I know what others think and feel.
11. I will not judge others (or myself) because it is harsh and destructive.
12. I will let go of my Shoulds.
13. I will remember that other people’s actions are almost always about them, not about me.
14. I will communicate, ask questions and listen.
15. I will be curious.
16. I will lower my expectations.
17. I will remember that “being human” means being imperfect and making mistakes. And that’s all right.
18. I will take chances. I will be bold and take a stand.
19. I will live my values.
20. I will remind myself that “I don’t know” is a good answer.
21. I will listen to my body.
22. I will remember to breathe. Really breathe.
23. I will get enough sleep.
24. I will remember that if I ask for what I want and accept what I receive, I will get what I need.
25. “Serenity is not freedom from the storm, but peace within the storm.” I will live by this motto.

HAPPY LIVING :)
