A man's true Identity..

It’s often said that Reputation and Character are twin brothers who were separated at birth but will eventually meet up again sometime in their lives. And when they do reunite, they will be equal.

Reputation is always the older brother, shaping destinies even before life begins. Character would naturally have to follow, judging by history and constant public scrutiny. Character is not what other people think about you – it is who you really are deep inside. Many people with great reputations haven’t got the character to match and when the two brothers eventually meet, Reputation is dragged down to the level of truth to where Character lives his real life...

A series of unfortunate events... but fun none the less

Day before yesterday was an evening of a series of unfortunate events....

Event 1: our office was one of the few open during the Eid holidays.. well technically eid came a day earlier so instead of having wed Thurs off and then the weekend we has Tuesday Wednesday off Thursday WORK and then weekend.... so event 1 was Thursday working (trust me no one was i nthe mood)

Event 2: A much awaited Hindi movie was released-- movie name Kidnap... so the guys and I decided we have to see it... so went on line based on a hunch that we would not get tickets and right we were... luckily we got last 3 front row tickets... so booked them..

Event 3: We well I believed i had booked the tickets in the mall right across the street but since it was to be one of THOSE nights it turnedo ut the tickets were booked in a mall on the other side of the creek.. So for a 10.30 show we caught a cab, after Abhijoy ran down a cab till he stoped, at around 10:15 and raced through the Dubai traffic.... REACHED IN TIME

Event 4: the seats man the were the best seats in the house we were at the smae angle at which it is impossible to see whts on a laptop montior... thats right front row EXTREME right form where the actors on the left of the screen got into a blur... oh and to top it off we were not together... One seat was seperate... Parvez was the brave soul to sit seperate....

Event 5: KIDNAP the movie well if we look beyond the skin & cleavage exposure of Manisha Lamba (actress)was kind of a heart braker... it was like watching welllll....... see the movie has left me speeachless there are no words to describe how irritating each song was and how worngly timed they were....

Anyways 3 hours later we were out of the theater and back on the taxi hunt...... an evening filled with misshaps was about to die a slow death we got a cab within minutes..... LUCKY US
