JEENA ISI KA NAAM HAI.... My take on life

History as we all know it have produced great artists, be it in the field of acting, dance, lyrics and each one brought to their audience something special something unique something magnificent.... As audiences we all sang danced & laughed with them but we never got to see their pain or their sorrow...

It was the great Charlie Chaplin that said "I cry in the rain so that no one can see my pain" -- truly the saddest quote by the worlds funniest man

There was a very famous song in an old Bollywood Flick (Anari)and the great Mukesh who wrote a song named "Kisi Ki Muskurahaton Pe" the lyrics of which, and I quote:-

"Kisiki muskuraahaton pe ho nisaar Kisika dard mil sake to le udhaar Kisike waaste ho tere dil mein pyaar Jeena issi ka naam hai"

Today if i look back at life and i picture these two great artists and their mesage I in some way feel connected with what they said.. because i feel that if to make a loved one happy we swallow our pain and our sorrow it is only a small price to pay especially in a world where most people befriend you only to step on you and move ahead....

Lat us think about this for a second.. Imagine you have a certian problem that you need to discuss.. and you go up to your Friend / fiance / wife to discuss but you see that he or she too has some unhappiness or some problem or he / she has some really good news to share and is extremely exited what would you do ask him / her to shut up and listen only to you or put your problems aside and try and get a smile on her / his face... Don't you think the latter would help you to smile as well.... I know it worked i do it very often..

Yes their are times when your humbleness ( if we can call i that) may come out as submissive but then who is the better person you who have helped someone e feel better or he who has stepped on you to go ahead... To know that you have made a sacrifice does not always mean standing on top of the tallest tower and screaming out your escapades at times it is also best to let time unfold its success to you...

This world has formulated itself into a world where our thought process is

Doubt or Hatred -- Want -- Personal benefit

Think about it does it not happen in our daily life...

When a parent calls out to their teenage child the first thought in the child's head is "oh go now what have i done god cant they leave me alone" cant it be that the parent is calling you for a gift a praise a pat on the back or even to tell you about their travel plans and how they trust you would take care of the house.... When we ask someone for help the response is "How is it going to help me" man does everything have to be about "ME ME And ONLY ME"....

There are many times that i have been in absolute discomfort and have wanted to share it but i have realised that putting my friend or my loved one in front of my pain has brought me more happiness than i would have felt if she would have solved my problem and we neglected hers...People react to his by saying "You know what Shaz you are letting everyone walk over you or you become spineless" and this leaves me at confused state is it wrong to find happiness in someone Else's happiness.. its weak of an individual to bend a little so that WE ALL ARE HAPPY TOGETHER..

I know i think differently from others and there will be many of my friends and loved ones who I know for a fact do not like the way i think and behave.. but its alright cuase seeing anyone of them, they need not be my closest of firends or the best bud i have, happy makes my day even if I end up crying in the rain....
